JimS123 your museum is just magnificent. The old Evinrude is something I have never seen before. Can you tell me a bit about it? Your work is art. I just realized there is more than 1 of those square head Rudes. Fantastic work and collection. I tell ya what I will give you that 50 bucks for each engine in USD not CDN. Deal or no deal?

No deal, but be careful what you say. I jokenly said the other day that I would sell an old gem for $600 (it isn't worth $50 but I had a lot of labor in it and was merely saying it wasn't worth much) and the mods edited my post because it appeared as an ad for sale. (It wasn't).

The old 'Rudes are Ole Evinrude's first attempt at putting a motor on a rowboat. They both were well preserved and DO run. Back in the day the coils and electrical components were in a separate "box" and unfortunately I don't have those parts.
My collection includes 5 that don't run (stuck), but I got half of them for free and the others for only $5. Ten more need 1 or more coils to get spark, and the other 55 have been barrel tested, run like champs and are now mothballed for future preservation.
Google "Evinrude Rowboat Motor" and the net can fill you in on all the details.
Its Winter now and I'm between Caribbean Cruises, so its the slow season. In a few (long) months I'll be out in the mighty Niagara fishing....
