I have a 85 sea nymph cc striper.I bought the boat used about 3 yrs ago.I live in Indiana and boat came out of Florida. The motor was seized up and upon rebuilding the engine i could tell it was used in salt water. On the back of the transom there were spots that looked almost like fuzz.I think it was some sort of electrolysis or chemical reaction to the metal.I sanded down the spots to clean them up only to find fine pitting in some spots and smaller holes in other areas no bigger than a q tip .And when exposed a white waxy looking substance oozed out.Any ideas what it could be?I want to replace the transom and is it possible to replace the entire out side sheeting on the back or maybe laminate a new sheet of aluminum over the old one??? Thanks for any advise ! I'm a new member and this is my first post...Gordy
