i've checked with rustoleum.com because everyone on the different forum recommended to me to use rustoleum but a representative told me that they don't recommend using their paint for the inside of a boat...besides they only have to colors avaiable white and beige,,no thanksI've used Supermarine paint before for a fiberglass runabout project. It's an excellent high quiality paint, but it is pricy:

Rustoleum has a line of marine paints that are cheaper and they have a metal primer too. I haven't used this paint, but I was thinking of trying it on my aluminum boat:

i'm getting ready to paint my 12 ft aluminum boat.
it looks to me that he didn't take his time prepping that boat, but what i'm refurring to is painting the inside of the boat, not the outside of the boat...people indifferent forums were saying to use rustloeum but they only have two colors available right now white and beige, and i want a sky blue...
yes, he could have prepped it properly with oil base paint. the only preparing to do if you go latex, is to be prepared to paint it again
Why?
What's wrong with a brushed aluminum finish?
It would be a lot easier to maintain too.
You're going to have to worry about that paint... "oh no my paint got scretched, now I have to touch it up", "hey don't do that, you're going to scratch my paint job"!
