Aluminum corrosion inside hull

starting new project 1985 starcraft ss180 aluminum
removed rotted floor
found some dusty aluminum corrosion on the ribs and seams


how to remove or treat corrosion before i installed new floor?

hull is intact

If you have a media blaster, that would clean out any corrosion and prep for either zinc chromate or etching primer. You could also sand out the corrosion if that is all you have available to work with. Just my ideas...

You can use some Star Brite Aluminum Cleaner and Scotchbrite pads.
