Aluminum to Stainless Questions (Newbie to props)

Hey guys.

My boat is described/pictured below.

It has a 3 blade aluminum 14 x 19 prop on it now. The boat runs really well, both out of the hole and has plenty of top end for me.

I found a 14.25 x 19 3 blade stainless steel 'rapture' (by MI Wheel) prop pretty cheap online. I'm wondering if that 1/4" or it being stainless will do anything different to the boat? I wasn't sure what the diameter would do.

Thanks.

I don't think the diameter is going to matter much, it's only a quarter inch.
SS prop will be heavier than aluminum, may have an impact.

I went from a 3 blade AL (14.25 X 21) to a 4 blade SS this spring (14.25 X 19), much better overall performance for planing easier and at a slower speed. Also bites better for pulling. Slightly lower top end, but I can't drive that fast anyway so I don't care.

In my case the SS was very much heavier than the AL, and with the extra blade I was advised to drop in pitch. Works like a charm.

Thanks for the help.

I'm thinking it won't make much of a difference, but I figured I'd ask here. I'm going to check out the prop tomorrow night, guy couldn't meet today.

If I can get it cheap, its likely worth a shot.
