Aluminum Transom Skin is SHOT! Looking for advice.

As far as I know, no one has been extremely happy w/ the results using those or similar rods

Some had very poor results (at least 1 posted that operator error contributed to the failure), others think they are of limited benefit, didn't hate results, but didn't post great reviews either.

I closed the new topic you started about using these rods. Please don't post the same thing multiple times. I did post a link to this topic before closing it.

Thank you for the response. My apologies for posting a duplicate topic. I should have looked through the list a little better.

Here,s what I did with one of my old boats instead of taking off the skin I went over it plus all new transom which was laminated in 3 sheets for high strength.Ten plus years that transom is still like new.
