Re: Am I Being to Stingy Here....

Great catch. Homework, patience & inspection pay off! I'd think of it as saving at least $200 & take the Admiral for a nice dinner for supporting you decent into MBS & her complete acceptance of it's implications ;)

Is it too late to ask if there are titles on either boat, motor or trailer?

My Admiral just tapped me on the shoulder & fully supports this plan. In fact, she may have mentioned something about a well deserved dinner out around these parts..... I wonder what I did to warrant her taking me out to dinner?????

Good move, Jim. $350 for a winch with various and sundry junk attached is over the top. Now one good winch and a pretty chrome horn along with a new drain plug.......Well, still NO.

Take the family to a nice dinner with the $350 you just saved. Big Macs and fries all around!

Sitting here on the dock at the lake with a stunning 1/2 moon... I like the diner idea JB!

Other great news is that I know now what I really want for the next project is a 50's feathercraft type tinny... Rounded hull at the back as the sides approach the hull!

So... Class #3 - have a somewhat foggy idea of what u want before beginning search. Note: u may find a great deal during search... That's ok. Admirals pre-approval a pre requisite.

Enjoy the boating tomorrow all!!!

You're welcome

Good think you're on the FC trail of a totally different FC. And so far away, since I do like the barrelback, but the '57-9 FC Clipper is more to my liking

PM your way....
