My wife also said there are lots of people coming in the ER due to the flue also. (which most should go to their family doc) I just hope she doesn't bring it home to me.

I think that is due to bad driving habits, every since they installed radios and phones in cars.. Stop and think about it; almost no one was killed in car accidents until the last 100 years.

I'm not even sure what the flu is. I was sick awhile back I had the diarrhea and I felt cold and was shivering. I didn't feel the need to go to the doctor though. I took a half day off from work and took it easy the rest of that day. It was a Friday and at this time of year I don't work Saturdays so I slept a lot on Saturday and by Monday I felt fine again. Was that the flu?

I thought about that. But, I hadn't eaten anything before hand that could have been bad. Besides I had the chills and stuff that I don't think you get from food poisoning.

Sure was but sounded like a mild case. Rest is really the only remedy, all of the "Flu medicines" just help relieves the congestion, coughing etc... Flu is a virus and your body immune system have to fight it off that is why people with weak immune system get killed by it. I'm not sure if it's the flu or not but our hospital is at full capacity right now. Our census pick up really fast right after the New Year.

By the way, why is it that TN always get all the outbreaks? Don't y'all have a major problem with MRSA too?
