I can't think of many boats (in that era) that are worth more now than when they were new. Definately a sound investment if you look after them. Is there a better beer than Bud? I asked my taste buds (haha) and they say, 'no'! <br /><br />AK Chappy - I guess I forgot the 's <br />At her best economy she gets about 2 mpg at 9 mph... a little less than that at 17 - 18.<br /><br /><br />

I have definitely added the 26 Tolly to my list. I have an ongoing love affair with Berty 31s. The Tolly is now a very close second.<br /><br />

How many boats does a guy need?<br />Short story;<br />I put an on-line ad. for the Moppie and a fella from Sweden bought it. He's already paid me for it (wired the $). After he bought it he discovered that the shipping estimates that he'd got were incorrect and it isn't worth shipping after all. So now he's asked for me to keep the 'deposit' and send the rest of the money back when I sell it. This is fine with me and that's what I'll do. After keeping the deposit I'll have basically nothing invested. The 'thing' is... I just bought it to make some money on and now I'm starting to like it...<br />the story of my life!<br />What to do?<br />Go into the poorhouse and build it?<br />Sell it and move on?

Nice start to your collection! Your Carrera's a beauty for sure. What sorta' power is in there?<br />I always thought 3 boats would be nice;<br />a 40' diesel 'weekender',<br />a 28' twin gas 'offshore',<br />and a nice 20' 'fish boat'.

It's got a 6.2 MX 320 w/Bravo 1. It runs an honest 55 with 2 people fuel and some stuff. Yours is a nice list as well.
