Has anyone ever ordered from Evinrude themselves?? Are they good with shipping does it take awhile? I see they have 4 coils for 42 dollars.. much rather get oem parts from the company then from anywhere else but it’s true they are basically $10 a piece then absolutely. Just need one but why not replace all four

I have ordered from them in the past, with good results. But with the latest news from Evinrude, it's anybody's guess.

A lot of good coils get replaced.----Yes they are $41 each.-----When I buy a parts motor the dealers don't bother to remove the coils as there is not a lot of demand for them.---They are good quality.

Yeah I had definitely read that wrong.. lol Thank you Endgrain for clearing that up for me lol and this motor has sat for seven years. So I’m basically finding one thing after another it’ll run down alright eventually lol I bought an OEM JOHNSON EVINRUDE coil 0582508 on ebay for $32.00 will arrive Friday with oem carb gaskets.

I have switched coils to make sure the coils that are not working and the coil pack is working well. I switched coils on a known good coil wire didn’t work chucked it. Then I put a good coil where a bad coil was and the good coil worked so it’s definitely a coil. It’s sat for seven years and is a 30 year old motor I am sure is wouldn’t hurt to replace all four no?
