Yeah, I've heard something about that (dolphin=mahi mahi); here we call it "Dorado", so there's no confusion with a dolphin "Delfin";)

Were you lucky that day?

I can't add much to the fishing conversation, but I will say welcome Nico.
Although I've never been to El Salvador, my son and daughter-in-law travel there several times every year. She is from there. She came her in '07 to marry my son. They met when my son was doing mission work there, and Patti was the interpreter for the sponsoring church.

Thanks BB.

That's nice, so what does your son thinks about down here?
Culture and scenery is so different.

It's a small world after all:)

Do you saltwater or freshwater boat?

Nico, I think my son enjoys his visits to ES, but as our expression goes, "be it ever so humble, there's no place like home". Patti really enjoys the visits. She is very close to her family and misses them enormously living here. They both hate the travel though, i.e. plane trips, airport delays, customs, etc.

My boating has always been in fresh water. We have a variety of lakes fairly close by. However, I don't boat nearly as much as in years past. Time takes it's toll.
