Does anyone have any experience with the AMI delphin rugged series inflatables. I am looking at a used 2006 one with a 25 hp 2 stroke tohatsu (15 hrs) for $3800.00 I have very little experience with rafts and was wondering if this is a fair deal. It come with the beach tires. For about the same price I can get an older 1990 Achilles 15 ft with 30hp johnson that is in good shape but has been used some. The Achilles is hypalon and the AMI is pvc. The AMI is like new and is 15.5 ft and the bottom is double reinforced. I will use it here in Alaska and it will be dragged up on beaches alot and used on rivers some. Any advice would be helpful. AMI also makes those sport cats and they seem to hold up well I hear but the Achilles are good also.
