Amplifier Output Voltage

Does anyone happen to know what the amplifier output voltage should be for a 1971 60hp Johnson?

I'm talking about the voltage on the wire that runs from the amp to the coil when the amp fires.

With the meter set at 500 volt scale, crank the motor and it should read at least 250 volts.

Thanks!! Im only getting 3V out of mine so I guess Ive found my no spark issue!
