I went to the campground this morning to check on my camper and boat as we had a ton of rain to move through over the weekend. Everything was fine except for a copperhead scaring the hee-bee geee-bees out of me..
Then I had one of those looks (like a dog when he hears something for the first time and he turns his head from side to side) on the way to the boat slips, I didn't know if I should laugh or run. I just have never seen anything like this before. Heck, It may work for a lifetime but I would not want to behind this at all. It's built like a deck with bunk brackets attached to the joists. I don't know how in the world it's connected to the actual trailer and I didn't look but it's built with 2x6's and galvanized nails. I usually don't say anything about what other people have in the way things look or how it runs as I've seen so called "P.O.S's" towing in $15,000 bass rigs, I know, my old "P.O.S. did just that. But this has to be unsafe for everyone behind, beside or in front of this contraption.

Gennie-Wine redneck pontoon hauler right there! :D Needs one of those "Keep Back 500 Ft. signs on the back of it. Due to no license plate its probably lacking an inspection. Does your campground have a storage bay? If so it may just be used to take the toon out of the water in the off season.

We are not required for inspection and state law does not require us to have a tag on boat trailers. No, the campground does not store the boats in the off season, they are required to be out of the slip by the 1st of October. That is someones toon trailer. LOL

Fine for storage or at-the-ramp use but not for highway!
