I Spent a few years when out of work doing serious salt-water offshore Kayak fishing. Loved it.
Now, with my 21' walk-around (have been boating all my life), I also spend most of my time Solo fishing offshore. On the Yak, I had a nice anchor trolley I made to easily drop the anchor from sitting, and shoot it up to the bow. Safe and easy.
Has anyone heard of this same concept on a larger boat? If I could do the same from the cockpit, and put the anchor up front without climbing to the bow--that would be huge. At times the boat is moving around enough that it makes me want to follow a similar setup for safety. Trying to think of a similar design that might work.
Anyone consider something like this??
Thanks
