Anchor Vs. Bow Light

I want to put an anchor mount for my fluke style anchor on the bow of my boat, but my bow light would get in the way. I would like to have the anchor mount, as well as my bow light. I am also planning on having a manual winch behind that. Does anybody have any ideas on how to have my bow light AND and an anchor mount share the bow? Also, anybody know the Washington State Laws about bow lights? I know you're all mostly east coasters on here, but I figured I'd at least ask.

Re: Anchor Vs. Bow Light

The obvious solution is to use what most larger boat do. Get rid of the two and one bow light and use separate side lights

My last boat, I put a big Fraser River anchor on it. Just pulled off the bow light and install separate red and green lights on either side of the anchor.

No biggie.

If you have bow rails, you can relocate the light on those.

Those would be USCG regulations you are interested in, they are on the coast guard website.
