anchoring question for a newbie

might sound a stupid question but i have not seen it asked before,
i have a 15 ft grp cuddy type boat and it has both a bow roller and 2 fairleads , the question is when i am anchored do i leave the rode in the bow roller or the fairlead?

By fairlead I assume you mean chock. I use the chocks for tying up to docks, or when the line runs horizontal from the boat. I leave the rode on the roller for anchoring...no reason to move it, easier to deploy/retireve the anchor & less chafe.​
