Head gasket if you want to last a couple of years longer (7 instead 5). The 888/302 combo are very popular around here. I dont know anyone that has used "the special head gaskets" when rebuilding. Most of us are speed freeks so we plan on doing a rebuild every couple years. If not sooner. Have to get every horse. If it makes you sleep better get "the special head gaskets" besides that there is no diffrence,none period. Unless..... you get into non 302 parts (dont worry mans are the same).
