WOW! i just clicked on your photobucket link. very nice! do you have a build thread? very interested in how you did that!

No, I don't have a build thread. I may one some day. I spent the winter doing it. I just took my time. The good thing I learned a ton by doing. I want to do another and now I know what I would do different. It's a great hobby.

Indeed TallCanadian, very nice job. You done well, looks and sounds great.

Thanks for the kind words. Since the build I add a CMC power trim unit and a fused switch panel. In the spring I'm going to repaint it. Not that I have to but I'm going with a darker blue and not sure if the blue will be on top or the same as she is now. And a set of back to back seats will also look great in there.

i know we are all busy, but with all the pics you have of the build you could still make a build thread. even after the fact. i for one would read it! i need all the help i can get! because of the age of the boat and from what i've read here, my wife just suggested we use the boat for a year or two and junk it. but after doing more reading here, it seems any boat can be givin a second chance! sooooooo, i need to start collecting stuff and money....

Hey Mikey, you and your wife will get more out of your boat when your done with the rebuild. You will get more satisfaction than a newer one. And the pride you feel is awesome. Once you get into it and especially when it's coming to completion, the enjoyment of it all is awesome. I'll see what I can do about a build thread.

I agree with was everyone has said, nice looking boat and there isn't anything more satisfying then seeing it get completed. I am looking forward to seeing what you do with the boat.

Not sure if I've missed it but did you ever find out what it is?

i know you guys have been waiting on pins and needles fo me to find out what kind of boat i got LOL! well, i found out a couple of days ago on my days off from the PO of all people. he thought he told me when i picked it up but he didn't. anyway, it's an 1982 Citation, a 175 i think. they made 2-3 boats that are close to mine, so some of the mystery continues. right now i plan to rebuild her this winter if allowed and trying to coming up with ideas and material now so i have a good game plan when the time comes. Ive already come up with this wild idea for a dog house/sundeck/jumpseat/storage all in one idea that i'm going to take measurements for. also been reading threads on foam and painting too. this is going to be a fish/ski/family time boat so i'm having a hard time deciding on going back with the back to back seats or some kind of swivel captains chairs, 4 if i can fit them. pretty excited about the new project even tho i haven't been in the water yet. getting a little tired of working/building my bronco. i took a few more pics the other day but haven't got around to uploading them yet. i will post them up in a little while.
