Received a T4 module today, and quickly noticed that the connector is different. The T4 is wider and has less pins than the T5. Not going to work.
From Page 189, of SBC Marine Performance:
"To convert a T5 ignition over to T4 ignition, simply remove the T5 modules mounted externally on the distributer housing and the detonation sensor on the engine block, and install a T4 ignition module with the correct advance curve."
The T4 module is 805361T4, which is the distributer mount, not the riser mount. I have the early T5 which has a single connector for the ICM (#807264T3). Not the latter and superceded ICM that has two rectangular connectors.
Just a FYI warning for those many readers of this book. Not the 1st error I found, but the 1st that cost me money.
