My old boat use to have an outboard so now with a VP 4.3 and a SX outdrive Im lost .Please could you guys give me a little help .

Exhaust is coming most tru the two holes behind the propeller but it comes almost dry with no water , However the relive hole next to the boat got a lot of water coming out . After 15 min runing at 165 and 1000 RPM on muff the manifolds and rinses are touchable ,you can hold your hand on them with not harm .but again the only hole with water is the big hole between outdrive and boat , Please advise if thats normal
Thank you

... However the relive hole next to the boat...

Not sure what that is, but if you mean it's up under the bellows at the top of the drive, then it's normal, and that's where most water will exit when run on muffs.

The two holes in the transom shield are idle relief ports. It's quite normal for most of the water to exit there on muffs. Especially if you have low water pressure or flow from your hose.

Water flows downhill. If you have the drive up like that when running (it won't hurt anything at idle) the water is not going to run uphill to out of the spots you have marked as dry exhaust.
You are fine. WHen in the water and boating, everything works as it's supposed to.
