Re: Another flooring question.
hey jigngrub thanks. thats what i was trying to figure out. i still am going to seal my floor to the side. if it dont work o well im not out to much money plus it is going to be with caulk so it should flex enough. as for the pvc drain idea. its besically the same thing you have in the picture but instead of going down it was going to go under the rear deck the down to the floor/bilge. but after seeing your photo and hearing you words of wisdom im thinking ill go with the path of least resistance. ill make it drain down. so now back to my last question about. after re reading the post link about the sealant. im still not 100 understanding it. all i got is its hard to remove if a leak happens. but is that not what you want. something that dries and stays strong? and if a leak happens you can always use a 4in grinder wheel and shave it off right. or has someone used the stuff and found it to be bad. this might be off topic but to test the stuff i tore the caulking off one side of a 100 gallon fish tank and sealed just the edges on that side with the stuff and filled it full of water. then had my younger sister get in the tank and push against the edges she could not make it leak or pop of. the tank was on old salt water tank i had from a from my wife deciding to clean the tank. never again.
