I've got an 1982 Evinrude 115 that acts as though it's starving for fuel for a couple of minutes after I try to run it at speed on the water. It starts fine at home and on the ramp, then poops out when I try to drive the boat. The fuel pump is rebuilt, the screen is clear, the bulb is hard, the vent is open. I can keep the engine running by priming it with the "choke". After two or three minutes, it seems to correct itself and run fine all day. Could it be something like a cracked or loose fuel line?
