Any ideas on best place to order OEM manuals. I was given the name of a company,Ken Cook for the older manuals('95 and earlier). The last one I checked on was for '96 225Hp and it was around $80. Anyone know of a cheaper place? I guess you still have to get the newer ones from the dealer???

Re: Another Manual Question

sF174 - yes those OEM manuals can be very expensive, plus shipping on top. I've found that the sources I'm familiar with seem to get them drop shipped from Cook - and therefore the prices are all about the same - high. For example, the OEM manual for my '82 V6 was about $90 and expedited shipping was also very expensive because it happens to be a large and heavy book (some of the older ones include many engine types in one manual and therefore are quite large).

Long way of saying - keep an eye on Ebay. I recently found one for quite a bit cheaper. Do a search for your particular engine, but also check sources that have manuals for similar engines - they often have an "inquire" link and have a stock of other manuals that might not be listed.
