Another Post Reminded Me

One post in the boat topic section brought back an old memory. It was a post about asking what a couple of switches and knobs was for.

This reminded me of a friend who had a old Mustang. One that had the little metal rings embedded in the upolstry of the seat. He had a button mounted on the dash on the passenger side labeled "Horn". You always knew when someone pushed it as it was hooked to a coil pack under the seat. Those rings would light your butt up in a hurry and make you scream just as loud as a horn!.

on my first boat , I had a diverter valve in the speedometer tube that allowed me to run a small tube to the backside of a drilled out Phillips head dashboard mounting screw....you couldn't even see the hole in it...but , while underway , I could point to something off of the port bow, and when my passeneger would look that way , I could give them a squirt in the crotch !

Now that could be funny! My boat has a GPS speedometer, but the speedo water tube from the outdrive is just plugged and coiled up behind the dash. I'll have to think about rigging it up!

I'm working on some other booby traps on my present boat...maybe a good hosing when going to grab a 'fish on' rod while trolling....lol... a couple of NEVER PUSH THIS BUTTON's here and there...

your set-up is ideal ! a simple ball valve up under the dash or gunwale....on or off ! typically, give them a 2 second blast ,... and try not to laugh..
