Another Pylon Question

Hey all
Im new to boating so just bare with me!!
Just purchased a 96 bayliner capri 2050SS, (1st boat i might add) we also just purchased a Tube for the kids (3person Tube) Now im wanting to get a pylon for the boat, just not sure, are they boat specific or are most or all of them universall??

Unless your boat came with one you?ll have to buy an aftermarket pylon. Most manufacturers, though, don?t recommend pulling inflatables with a pylon ? they generate too much force if they go under. Pull a tube with your center tow ring. I?d probably tow a multi-person tube with a harness attached at the transom eyes.
