So, we took the boat out today, 1st trip since I installed the tabs. Idling in the channel, it still walks around a lil, but most of it is gone now. Getting on plane, the boat feels like it jumps up and floats, instead of plowing the stern and going bow-high. While pulling tubers, it was great. lots of stability, and the boat held its rpm's better in sharp turns. then it got choppy. The boat, no lie, felt like it was another 2-3 feet longer handling the chop. it was that much more stable and smooth. Even the girlfriend who isnt crazy about my boat passion :eek:and buying parts for it:D says its the best thing we ever bought for the boat.

So in all, another satisfied customer. I left the tabs on setting 3 all day, and she ran 40 mph on gps with the boat loaded to full capacity.

Did you half to play with the tabs at all to try to get most of the bow steering to go away, Or did you just leave them at one setting??? Just curious:) thank's;):) PS, Good to hear she likes them too, It should help keep her interested in wanting to go out boating even on the days she might not be feeling up to going out.;)

Hey Redone, Thanks for the report. I can`t wait to get my tahoe Q6 on the water tuesday for my test. I will report back as well. P.s. I see a lot of petty officers on this site. Are all you guys navy? Don`t hold it against me, but I was in the USCG many moons ago. Best time of my life!:D

Maddog - Check out this link in the FAQ section.

It explains that are ranking system is all done by post count. It is modeled after the navy's system but that is it.

Also, thanks for your service to our nation!

i didnt have a chance to adjust anything, i just left them on setting 3. I was happy with it and I had friends we were entertaining and stuff. then it got rough so we headed in for the day. i do plan on trying the 1 and 5 setting just to see what i like best

if you get creative you can punch a couple more holes in the mounting area, at least two lower holes fairly easily. Gives you more adjustability!

I can see a future episode of "How's you get so rich" hosted by Joan Rivers, featuring Jdeagro lol. That little invention is the best thing since sliced bread.
