bought this at lunch, on Craiglist this morning. 1966 50 merc, 1966 Sportcraft sportsman. stringers and deck already done. has windshield. and cable pulley steering. motor check out as best i could tell. will pick up this week. $150.00

Looks like you picked up a nice boat to finish up and roll for a quick few bucks. It needs a touch of color or accents.

that looks exactally like my fiirst rig....same motor too...mine was a short shaft....

put a 13 inch prop on it and kneeboarded all day long on 40 bucks worth of gas.....loved that boat.

got it home, motor good compression, starter, solenoid good, shifts, weak battery no spark. has brand new windshield custom made $294.00.

I just got home with mine. I need a day to go through it and see what the heck it needs, but I do know it will require a floor tearout. At least the trailer lasted the 47 mile trip.​

Looks like you picked up a nice boat to finish up and roll for a quick few bucks. It needs a touch of color or accents.

Just name it and put the name on back and each side Big lettering. Color enough. Easier to clean and maintain without a bunch of stripes or Paint/color.

How do you find such Steals?
Here we still have two feet of Ice and snow. Boat comes out of storage the 19th of April.

i watch craigslist, and ebay every morning, then a couple of times a day. i bought mine 3 hours after it appeared on craigslist.

Here we still have two feet of Ice and snow. Boat comes out of storage the 19th of April.

I guess it is one of those things when you live in a state surrounded with water that is warm all year. Craigslist has MANY cheap boats. That is where I found mine.

I used to hate to wait till spring to pull the toys out, but when it comes, it is a great thing. At least you can play hockey on a lake. If I try that here, I get a little wet. ​

it came with a 1966 50hp Merc, has great compression, but no spark, waiting of manuals. so i decide to get hull ready. have to find a trailer.

Love the green. You should change your terminoloy though, "British Racing Green" sounds classier You going to try to find a windshield? I think that would look sharp on there.
