For sale on ebay

Location: Ft Lauderdale, FL
General Description: 2004 19ft Sea-Pro SV 1900 CC Bay Boat sustained damage from explosion. Gas was mistakenly filled into bilge instead of gas tank, electrical spark caused ignition. Hull has no apparent damage and there is very little fire damage as it was a flash type explosion. Deck joint is separated around most of the hull. Gunwale, deck and console have several stress cracks in areas from force flexing the deck and deck cap. Gauges did not operate when engine was test run. 2004 115hp Yamaha four stroke outboard is reported to have no damage, it ran and operated properly when run on hose including power tilt and trim. Cockpit seating is in good condition. Pole seat, bimini top and Minn Kota electric trolling motor are included. No trailer.

I wonder if anyone was on the boat when the big bang happened?
It is still a good deal. Current bid is $4000. The motor alone is worth that.

If it is as advertised. Too many stories on ebay that "ran good last time out", "good runner", "just had serviced". Tough to check them out from over 1000 miles away. I'll pass.

I'd pass on it. Hull damage from the explosion could be hidden. I'd keep looking.

USauctions is a good outfit. I almost bought two boats from them- I just couldn't pull the trigger when I had to and lost two good deals. They do a lot of business with damaged, repo'd and lien boats. They're straight up, but you always take a chance on buying stuff like this. Hey, you're getting a deal. If you want perfect, go buy new.

Yes, the outboard and trailer are worth the price right now.

UFM82
