Re: Another Yamaha 703 controller question
No problem. One of the fun things about reading a forum like this is the opportuity for a chuckle on occasion. I set that up so perfectly! I couldn't have resisted either.

Three pairs of wires each pair coming to a single connector (In other words six wires to three connectors.) There is a pair of red wires, a pair of light green wires (Lime green my wife called it, and a pair of light blue wires (sky blue says my wife). I know that one pair has to do with the trim and tilt gauge, although I have no idea which one. I suspect that the others are for oil pressure and temperature but that is a guess. And why a pair? Would this mean that I need to send one end to a sender in the engine and the other to the gauge or do they remain paired with both going to the gauge. (I have had Johnson engines before so this comtroller is new to me.)
