Hi to all,

Well I just bought a Tim's 16x54 welded flat. I removed the 48 spl from my riveted 14' flat. I ordered a CMC trim and tilt which should arrive tommorrow. On my 14' the anti-cavitation was aprox. 3/4" below the bottom of the boat. I never did raise it because I was upgrading to a welded boat.

Main question, I've read that you should be even or slightly above the bottom. But can raise it 1" for each 6" setback. Am I understanding this correctly? This perticular boat Tims the flatened the center keel v (for lack of a better/correct name) 12' in front of the transom/bottom edge.

Where should I start out mounting the ptt and motor, Where would you more experienced guys align the anti-cavitation plate in reguards to the bottom?

Any and all info. will be appreciated.

Beck
