anti-fatigue mats on floor

Anybody ever use anti-fatigue mats on the floor of an aluminum boat. I think they will help save the floor and be easier to walk on. The kitchen type will allow water to flow underneath. And they are not too heavy.

Is there a downside.

the work well but must be removable so things can be cleaned, and dried as they tend to hold moisture under them.

Ask questions when you purchase; some of the mats do not hold up when exposed to UV (some however, are made for outdoors).
