Anyone ever cover the deck with these mats? If I am on the boat 2-3 8hr days straight I am getting beat up (back). I am considering buying a couple to cover the deck in the stern and also in the pilot house where I stand.
Looking for comments regarding issues like drainage, marking of deck, and overall fondness/dislike. After all they are a bit pricey and I am a cheap Yankee.
TH

Re: Anti-fatigue mats

Often times anti-fatigue mats are made of a various durromoter of PVC. By nature PVC is not UV protected. Save yourself some money in the future and spend a little more on UV rated mats. PVC will break down very quick in sunlight.

Also a lot of the mats have holes in them. The holes can become collection spots for leaves, and other gunk. If you are going to put it in, think about the ease of getting it out to clean under it, if it has a lot of holes built into it.

I love my anti-fatigue mats, but a little more "maintenance" is required with mine to keep boat clean.

Bucky,
Found one that is solid surface made out of old tires for commercial boats. I think I may go with it. 2 mats (4x6) will cover most of the aft deck.
