i agree that is the rules, so agree to yes....
with that said. i wonder what the rules are and how the apply to older boats. for instance. my '75 has no anti siphon valve, nor a few other real major safety items specifically a fuel pump that drains back to the carb. for a ruptured diaphram. best i can tell, this is the way my boat came from the oem in '75.
so does it meet the rules..... i don't know....certainly not todays rules... maybe it depends on the year of mfg.? or maybe your supposed to keep you boat up to date with the rules? though i don't see that in the rules....
on the anti siphon valve. i know i've heard a non tech (salesman) at the dealer i go to talk of removing anti siphon valves. i know he didn't say that though...
