I have a 1993 mercruiser MCM 5.0L serial 0f002209.
My drive is a Gen 2 serial number od899770.
I'm still having trouble with getting WOT rpms. I'm getting 3850 rpms at 26 mph by gps after changing to the correct Ignition Module. I removed the Anti siphon Valve and checked to make sure the pickup screen was clean. The Valve is very hard to blow through. There was no junk in it and it does leak a little air blowing from the reverse opening. When I pulled it off no gas came out of the line from the seperator. When I blow through it very hard it makes a rattle sound. I'm going to replace it and the line.
Does this sound like a bad valve and possibly my problem? Thanks
