Any i Boaters in the St.Louis area.?

When i get some time in with the boat i buy i want to travel down the Mississippi as far as is practical.Jump unto another river..(sorry i forgot ) its near Kentucky and it ends up in Mississippi , then make a left and check out Pensacola Florida and
come back home..

Until i feel up to that looking for any destinations a few days away.

Must be talking about the Ohio River... You can continue around and back into the great lakes as well, it's called the Great Loop and a few people have done it.

I boat just North of STL between Alton and Winfield Locks. Not planning on doing the great loop anytime though, I'm pretty content staying 30 miles or so from my marina and just hanging out on the water.

Fellow STL area boater here (Illinois side) . Normally go to Carlyle and sometimes Kaskaskia River. Tried Rend Lake also. We are going to try the Mississippi up by Alton/graftom area this weekend. Looks like a lot of boaters up that way and nice scenery compared to the Illinois lakes......
