Any Imperial owners out there???

I have a Imperial 260FC, when i google this boat i only get like 2 results.. LOL

Ive searched the forums and hardly anything came up.. Mostly my posts...

Any of you lurkers own this boat? Used to own it? Know stuff about it?

I really love the build and I am extremely happy with the boat, i just wish there were more out there that i know of, that have some feedback about these boats and this manufacturer which went OOB a while ago.

I had one once and I never could find any info or parts for it. It was a 1994 model 17' with volvo motor and penta outdrive. Turned out to be a half year model and no parts catalogs listed anything for it like props bellows or anything. Sold it first time it broke and never looked back.

I used to sell the 26 Imperial back in the late 80's early 90's. The 26 I remember was a BEAST - 10' beam, tons of deck space, good cabin layout and HEAVY. I always liked the brand - never a big name boat, but they all seemed to be pretty well built. Never owned one though.

I have an Imperial v184, it was my father in laws and he past away 5 years ago. He bought it new back in 1987. It was sitting on the side of his house for a long time not being used, i never found out why he stopped using it. My brother in law was working on it for a while but he recently turned it over to me. It is my first boat aside form a few years owning a ridged hull inflatable. It looks very solid, however it is rotten pretty bad, i have a thread in the boat rebuilding forums you may want to check out. Looking forward to getting it fixed and in the water. I had a heck of a time finding info about the boat. I found a few pictures but nothing about the manufacturer. It has a nice deep V hull which should be more than enough to handle the Tennessee river.

I recently purchased a 1989 Imperial 2150 Cuddy I/O with a 305 Chevy V8 & Volvo Penta outdrive. I bought it from the original owner and for a 23 year old boat it was quite well taken care of.
