Re: any luck with CD manuals?

I bought one of the OMC's except it was from 1986 to 1993 (I have 1989 Cobra's) because I usually leave my OMC factory manual in the boat and this gives me something to use at home and it was cheaper than buying another manual. It's ok for backup purposes but I think I still prefer to turn the pages ;) plus mine has little tips and hints handwritten throughout.

The CD versions are not near as detailed as the real OEM service manual.
What year and size is the engine and drive?

I keep the taped together seloc on the boat, with Don's printed out trouble shooters; Don't care about the seloc, even bet that paper don't float, either.

Re: any luck with CD manuals?

Ive been looking for manuals and found a few different CD manuals on ebay. Anyone ever looked at one of these? Any good? Here is an example:

thanks

I bought both CD and OEM Printed. Not knowing for sure but the CD looks like a copy of an Aftermarket Manual. Although useful portable type of backup manual, it is nowhere near a replacement for the OEM.
