any one have a 12V air boat lift?

IM moving a boat lift from a dock with a generator ( 115V) to a dock with solar power ( 12V)<br /><br />and I havent been able to find an air blower to fill the lift tanks that runs off of 12V.<br /><br />does anyone out there have a 12V powered boat lift?<br /><br />thanks!

I kinda doubt you will find one, as it requires a lot of power for the pump lift circuit. But if you find anything that works, please let us know..

I have found the blowers to BUILD one, I just figured there was already one on the market so I could just buy it.<br /><br />the blowers I am currently usiong ( 115Vac) are vacuum cleaner motors, about 80 CFM, and very little pressure.<br /><br />it doesnt take much of a blower to match that at 12V.

I think some lift manufacturers sell 12 or 24 volt blower units for this purpose. I have seen these kits on some floating lift companies web sites. Do a search on the web and you will find something.

I have seen lift websites with references to them, but havent actually seen one for sale yet.<br /><br />I did find a lcoal dock company who says they have one for $295, so I am still looking.<br /><br />I can build one for much less than that, but I have more $$ than time right now for this project. ( unless I have to pay $295, then Ill find the time! haha)<br /><br />Thanks!
