Any Other Maintenance Basic I Should Know?

Hi again,

I just found out that I have to buy a pump-thing to fill the lower unit oil. Okay, no problem.. I'm gonna go hit Napa.

So is there anything else I need to know that is "common knowledge" that I'm missing?

on the 6hp it does not hold a lot of fluid, you can use the squeeze tube to fill it. the new bigger lower units hold a lot more fluid, but replace the o ring seals on the drain and vent plugs

Turns out Napa closes at 3pm on Sundays in this stick town... I'll have to wait until tomorrow... but tomorrow I can get a couple of new float cushions, a tarp/cover and get it registered!

Now if my hitch receiver would just hurry up...
