I was wondering if it worked for you. It is a lot of work to set up and tear down, but it sure makes things a bit safer. Glad it worked out....Now enjoy your boat :D

Actually it was not that bad setting it up ( it was getting all the parts down to the water that was the hard part.) First time We set it up, they gave me the wrong threads!, so I had to go back and get shorter cross braces ( the towers were 10 feet apart at first, but the treads only spand 7 feet, also the rental place did not give me the safety railings! So it took 2 weekends (the actual cutting took a few hours.)

The next day the boss comes up and says why did I not cut more off! ( I think we were already way out on a limb here)

Chainsaw, rope, buddy, 30 ft ladder, & a lot prayer. That's how I trim my trees.

I say the best thing is not to stand under the limb while it falls.
Also if your standing on the limb when cutting,, stand on the tree side..:D

Sorry,, but i had to..

Looks like a really nice place. The tree looks good, the wood stain looks better.
I love the sun myself, sadly we did not even get a summer here this year.

Mmmm... Did my wife get you to say that! She picked out the stain, I picked out the pant sprayer ( After she said to to the Whole place!!!). The kid said that's too red!
