I dont think there were any service bulletins. The biggest update was that OMC went belly up and they are now owned by Bombardier. This engine is not in the 2004 lineup. Replaced by a 4 cylinder 4 stroke and a 75 HP 3 cylinder direct injected 2 stroke, called E-TEC by Evinrude, with pistons by a NASA patented alloy, and no maintenance for 3 years.
