Any way to stop the "happy feet" and other advertising on the bottom??!!

Seems every single page I have to start off by hitting the close button to get rid of unwanted advertising on the bottom of the screen that just keeps popping up. I close it then start typing something and it pops up blocking out what I'm typing so I have to close it again or move the whole page. Maybe then go to "advanced" to put in a face and it pops up again. Edit, it pops up again. Is there any way to to stop this? it's annoying as all hell!!! The advertising on the top pops up on every screen too but at least it doesn't raise up and block what you are typing.

Set your pop-up blocker on high.

Thanks jigngrub, I have a MAC and the only setting in my Safari browser preferences for blocking pop up ads is all ready checked off. Is there a preference anywhere on the forum to stop it that you know of? I even tried tickling all the feet with a feather but they are imune to this also!:lol:
