Anybody can help me?

i just bought a used Mariner 5hp outboard, it's air cool, serial no is "661 L 321387" , can any experts tell me the year of the motor? 2 or 4-stroke version? the type of engine oil to be used and in what pre-mix ratio...? i have photo, but i don't know how to post photo here, pls visit this link " http://www.smartanglers.com/cn/uploads/photos/1079.jpg "<br />thanks, all the best and happy new year!!

I have a 3.5 hp version of those, The water tube is for cooling the exaust tube. It doesn't go all the way up to the engine, it finishes just inside the top of the leg where the exaust enters(through the elbow joint looking peice under the cylinder). It picks up water from presure provided by the prop. the inlet is inside the tip of the exaust opening and faces the prop, it has a slight flare to help pick up the water.
