Dave's Diner originated here in Evansville on a local oldies show. It was so popular that when Mike Harvey's Super Gold show did a live broadcast from here (He has done so every year for a while at out Freedom Festival) he heard it and then it got picked up in syndication. Didn't do very well but now has been picked up by XM sattelite and the reviews are pretty good. It's cool to see something local from your hick town go national.
