I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these pour spouts, how well they work and how well they seal? Over the next several months I will be doing small sections of gelcoat at a time so wondering if these pour spouts will seal the gallon can of gelcoat so that it doesn't degrade over a few months.

I would try to condense all you gel work within a very short period of time

Thanks. Due to logistics it will be difficult to do everything close together. I guess I could go back to just putting the lid back on. I bought a gallon of pre-colored gelcoat but I don't think they had it by the quart.

Ok, thanks... I want to do the V Berth first, then put in the V Berth bulkheads, and then do the rest of the deck. So, I think I will hold on the V Berth for now, get the gas tank set in and the deck over it finished, then pull the trailer out (for blast and paint) so I can do the underside at the same time as the deck and the V Berth. I also have to do the transom and the top of the boat (not doing the sides except the outside of the transom). Not sure how far the gallon will go anyway until I get into it so I might be able to coordinate it all closer together.
