Anybody have experience with this product ? ( repainting rib tubes )

Hi,<br /><br />I have 17ft RIB and the tubes on it are worn and sticky, first I was thinking of replacing them but now I found this on the net.<br /> http://www.allinflatables.com/shopping/paint/index.html <br /><br />Is there anybody that has experience with this product and tell me if it is any good ?<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />stef

It seems to do everything but flush the toilet. If your RIB tubes are as bad as you say, I don't think you have much to lose. What's the worse that could happen?

Yes, I've used their paint. You can scratch it off with your fingernails if you try. Best to paint, then sell... <br /><br />Should prolong the life of the inflatable for another few years. Good luck.

I figured the paint was a ripoff. When I looked at the $300 price tag to do my RIB I felt the $300 would be put to better use buying a new boat.<br /><br />I think all the paint is doing is covering up a problem. Not even sure how you'd find a leak or fix it with the paint on the tubes.

Good luck! I just went through this with my Avon 310 Rover which is a 91 model. Avon doesn't make tubes. I looked at a place that would make me new tubes but they wanted $3000, and we're talking about a 10 ft boat.<br /><br />After weighing the options I decided to sell the boat and buy another. Hope you fare better then I did.
