Re: anybody here into old cars?

I'd like to build something myself one day.

I had a '76 TransAm with a 400 in it, and the plan was to build a 4-bolt 350 Chevy with 2.02 heads into a 377, balance & blueprint it, go with a single carb (I'd probably go with an EFI setup these days) and a fairly hot cam bumping Rhodes lifters, and I wanted to keep the compression down to about 9 to 9.5 to 1. I wanted something bullet-proof and capable of 7500-8000 rpm. Not an 800 HP monster, but would probably be fun to drive! Anyway, there was no money and it never happened.

Now there's money, but no TransAm. :(

Actually, I don't recall how a 377 is made...is it a 400 block with 350 crank, or a 350 block with a 400 crank??

Do you need any parts for the 65 Cuda?
