Anybody know anything about Glasstream Boats

Im looking at another boat for rebuilding, the hull looks good but the engine mercruiser 350 needs to be replaced/rebuilt. basic glass repairs cosmetics and upolstry. its a 23' cabin cruiser but I don't want to spend more than its worth

Any thoughts

They were a "flash in the pan" entry level boat made with the cheapest stuff available. The company made trash boats in the 80's and 90's and even skipped some years..... then resurrected in 2000 only to fail again.

Cheap wood was used and the hulls were not too thick or strong.
