Im looking for a V-bottom thats a little better threw the water than my flat bottom.

I already have the engine/controls I would need for it. But, anybody guess the year? size? ride quality?

i'd think if the motor on it runs and no rot, thats not a bad price
do you need a title in ca? we dont here in co. you do need a title fore the trailer but you can get a home built title if you have lost the original
almost every state is different.
it looks like in the picture that it has enough vee to ride pretty good

well I planed to take the OB off my current boat and toss it on there. So I really dont care if it runs or not.

And yet, you need registration in CA.

The trailer can be home built too.

I have a good looking home built trailer I keep around to get a trailer title and plate. Then just do a quick swap-aroo ;-)

Use To Build Boats For Harris Kayot In Indiana. Left There And Started Working For Fleetwood Rv's Now I'm A Freightliner Diesel Mechanic. But When I Worked At Fleetwood In Decatur, Indiana Right Down The Road From The Plant, They Build Thunderbird Boats. Looks To Be Around 90-95. And I've Been Told There A Damn Good Boat. I'd Do It.

Go To Formulaboats.com Not Much Info There But It's A Start Also Mon. Morn Call (260)724-9111, That's The Factory Number And They Can Give You Info. You'll Need The Vin#. And Most States Allow You To Apply For A Lost Title, But You Would Need A Notarized Bill Of Sale.

I've had a 23' Deep V Thunderbird and a 15' trihull. Both very tough boats - well built.

Re: Anybody know anything about this kinda boat?

went and looked at it today.

rated for 6 people @ 1000 pounds. I wrote down the serial but its in the van.

It has a large -what looks to be- fuel tank fiberglased down in the center of the thing. making an uneven surface everywhere. 125hp johnson is seized.

hull looked like it had no rot. but i didnt move all the stuff he had in it out. the $500 price tag and how much work it needed just wasnt worth it. esp that i would have to title it still. and the tags that were on it last were 1981

back to my hunt for a small V-bottom
